About the work

You protect the edge of office and data center networks, and you split those networks into safe zones (segmentation).

Your tasks

  1. Set up and look after next-gen firewalls, IPS and remote access VPN
  2. Plan micro-segmentation and zero-trust network access designs
  3. Check firewall rules and remove old, repeated or too-open rules, so each rule gives only the access needed (least privilege)
  4. Help with security incidents by studying network traffic

Pay and benefits

Pay: $100,000 – $130,000 per year
