About the work
You build event streaming, so data reaches other systems in real time.
Your tasks
- Write the Kafka producers that send messages and the consumers that read them, and describe each message with an Avro schema kept in Schema Registry
- Use Kafka Streams and Spring Kafka to write apps that work on data as it flows in
- Choose the number of partitions, how long data is kept (retention) and how consumer groups are set up, so the system can take more load
- Add DLQs, ways to replay messages, and monitoring hooks
Pay and benefits
Pay: $125,000 – $155,000 per year
Benefits: If you join on W2, you get health care (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) with a company match, cover for life and short-term disability, a choice of FSA or HSA, paid time off and paid holidays. On C2C, these benefits do not apply.
